As reported, Reliance Industries has a revenue of over ₹9.03 lakh crore ($109.4 billion). It is involved in diverse sectors such as petrochemicals, oil and gas, retail, telecom, and more. Ambani's three children, Akash, Anant, and Isha, are actively involved in managing different divisions of the conglomerate.

Gautam Shantilal Adani who is 61 years old person is the second position as the richest person in India. He is well-known for being the creator and leader of the Adani Group. This large corporation is engaged in port management and growth in India.

Gautam Adani's wife, Priti Adani, serves as the chairman of the Adani Foundation, founded in 1996. The group operates in various industries, including ports, airports, power generation, and green energy. Adani is known as India's largest airport operator and manages the country's largest port in Gujarat. Allegations of financial fraud and stock manipulation in 2023 led to a significant market value decline, later recovering after a favorable Supreme Court ruling.

As reported, Adani Group has a revenue over ₹6.8 lakh crores ($84 billion).

HCL has prestigious clients like Cisco, Microsoft, and Boeing. He was honored with the Padma Bhushan by the Indian government for his exceptional contributions to the IT industry.

As reported, Shiv Nadar has a revenue over ₹2.72 lakh crore ($32.7 billion)


4. Savitri Jindal & family

Savitri Jindal who is 74 years old is the fourth position as richest person in India. Savitri Jindal, an Indian politician and entrepreneur, serves as the emeritus chair at the OP Jindal Group, a prestigious position. Her four sons, Prithviraj, Sajjan, Ratan, and Naveen Jindal, are in charge of managing the different sections of the company. 

Additionally, JSW Sports, a division of the JSW Group focused on sports, functions as a part of the conglomerate that extends across India, the US, South America, Europe, and Africa. The aim is to play an active role in fostering a dynamic sports environment in India. Savitri Jindal holds the title of the wealthiest woman in India.

As reported, Savitri Jindal & family has a revenue over  $29.1 billion.


5. Dilip Shantilal Shanghvi

Dilip Shantilal Shanghvi, 69 years old is the fifth  position as the richest person in India. Dilip Shantilal Shanghvi, an influential Indian entrepreneur, is the mastermind behind Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, the initial Indian pharmaceutical company to achieve a $5 billion valuation.

He expanded Sun by acquiring various companies, with the largest acquisition being the scandal-ridden competitor Ranbaxy Laboratories in 2014 for $4 billion.

As reported, he has a revenue over  ₹15.65 lakh crore.


6. Cyrus Soli Poonawala

Cyrus Soli Poonawala, 82 years old is the sixth position as the richest person in India. Cyrus Soli Poonawalla, a leading figure in vaccine development in India, is the main recipient of the increasing sales and profits as the owner of Serum Institute of India, a privately held company. His son Adar helps him with managing it.

The headquarters of the institute are located in Pune. It is worth mentioning that the Serum Institute holds the esteemed position of being the biggest vaccine producer globally. 

Cyrus Poonawalla's wealth has significantly grown due to the extensive use of the Covid-19 vaccines produced by the SII. Lately, Cyrus Poonawalla has gained attention in the political arena for his significant contributions to the NCP during the 2019 elections.

As reported, he has revenue over $21.8 billion.


7. Kushal Pal Singh

Kushal Pal Singh, 92 years old is the seventh position as the richest person in India. Kushal Pal Singh, a property mogul, serves as the chairman emeritus of DLF, the largest real estate company in India based on market capitalization.

Singh has served in the military. In 1961, he became a part of DLF, a company founded by his father-in-law. After that, he established DLF City in Gurgaon and held the position of chairman for over five decades. He currently holds the position of chairman emeritus. 

Currently, DLF, based in Delhi, is led by his son Rajiv Singh Pal who serves as the realty company's chairman. DLF is set to introduce a high-end housing development in Delhi in 2022 in collaboration with GIC.

As reported, he has revenue over $21.3 billion.


8. Kumar Aditya Birla

Kumar Aditya Birla, 56 years old is the eighth position as the richest person in India. Kumar Birla, who is recognized as a prominent figure in the commodities industry, will take over the leadership of the Aditya Birla Group. 

In addition to the aluminum and cement sectors, the group also offers financial services. Birla also served as non-chairman of telecom company Vodafone Idea; however, he left office in 2021, when the whole was full of more debts. From 2024, the company appointed Birla as the new director. 

He recently became the Additional Chairman of Vodafone Idea when Vodafone Idea did a ₹18,000 FPO, the largest FPO in India's history, which was hailed as a success and the start of "Vodafone Idea 2.0", which focused on network upgrades and 5G rollout. Recently, Birla's children Ananya and Aryaman joined the board of his flagships.

As reported, he has revenue over $19.6 billion.


9. Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani

Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani, 69 years old is the ninth position as the richest person in India. Indian entrepreneur and prominent investor Radhakishan Shivkishan Damani is known as the founder of Avenue Supermarts Limited, which has nearly 336 DMart stores in India.

He is also known as the King of Indian Retail as he started his journey from Mumbai in 2002. He also manages his investment ventures through his company Bright Star Investments Limited. He has investment in VST and India Cement and his property portfolio also includes Radisson Blu Resort in Alibaug.

As reported, he has revenue over $17.2 billion. 


10. Lakshmi Mohan Mittal

Lakshmi Mohan Mittal, 69 years old is the tenth position as the richest person in India.
Lakshmi Mittal is famous for being the chairman of the world's largest steel and mining company by production.

He started his own steel company and then merged with France's Arcelor in 2006 to become ArcelorMittal Steel. Although Mittal passed the CEO position to his son Aditya Mittal, he continued to retain his position as the chairman of ArcelorMittal. 

The company's net income in 2023 was $919 million.
